Courtyard Seoul Times Square
Yeongdeungpo Station, Seoul • Hotel
To cut it short, it's a place with a soft inside and a hard exterior. Invited to Courtyard Marriott Times Square, here's my take on it after a stay. The hotel, undoubtedly, receives more love from people who prefer hotels surrounded by complexes. Here's why. The exterior and interior of the hotel are completely different, located in Yeongdeungpo with Shinsegae, Lotte, and Times Square all in the vicinity, along with a train station and a subway station, making it quite bustling. However, the moment you step into the hotel lobby, things change. It feels peaceful, like entering a safe zone. The high ceilings offer a refreshing feeling, and the ambiance is more luxurious than expected, a complete reversal from the outside. The rooms maintain a classic vibe, luxurious and comfortable despite the passage of time, highlighted by walnut tones and indirect lighting showcasing views of Seoul and diagonal sunlight calming the stressed mind. A tip: the mini-bar equipped with free beer, beverages, and snacks under certain packages, including a CGV movie ticket and a late checkout at 9 PM, something more people should know about (refer to the 30-hour package on the official website). The hotel connects to Times Square and Shinsegae, providing ample facility options. EXECUTIVE rooms grant access to a private lounge where guests can enjoy beverages and simple snacks in a quiet setting, ideal for work or concentration, plus a rooftop to spend time on pleasant days. Courtyard Times Square has more charm than expected, making it a great spot for those who wish to spend their time solely within the hotel. More details can be found on hotelcontent.com.
