Chaegro is a Han River view book cafe near Mapo Station on line 5. Occupying the 2nd, 6th, 8th, and 9th floors of a 9-story building, each floor in Chaegro offers a unique Han River view and an array of books fitting for a book cafe. Depending on the purpose of the visit, this place is already famous as a sunset hotspot and a cafe conducive to work. This was my first visit. The view is excellent, and there are various seating options including spaces where shoes must be removed, window seats, and shared tables, so you can choose based on your needs. Note that the 9th floor prohibits talking and is aimed at providing a quiet space. Those who need to talk should choose between the 6th and 8th floors. The music at Chaegro features instrumental and classic tunes, mostly comprising calm piano pieces, fitting for a book cafe. Being able to enjoy such a view with music that doesn't detract from the experience makes me truly grateful.
