Oedo, Botania🌴, a whole island becoming a garden, is about a 20-minute ferry ride from Geoje Island, often referred to as an island within an island. Getting off the ferry and climbing a slightly steep hill, an exotic garden unfolds to the extent that one might wonder if they are still in Korea. Halfway up the hill, there's a shop offering cool and sweet vanilla ice cream to refresh the travelers. Just as splendid as Austria's Mirabell Gardens, the well-maintained gardens of Oedo Botania are said to be in bloom 365 days a year. After touring the garden, it might be nice to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee at the only cafe on Oedo, with the South Sea as the backdrop.
