The Yeongdeungpo Times Square Christmas Tree comes up every winter, sparking anticipation about what kind of tree will be installed. This year, as always, a golden tree top was set up along with quaint little trees, which seemed to shine even more on a rainy day. The sight of a ginkgo tree on the opposite street looked ironic in comparison. Seeing trees being set up around Seoul makes you feel that winter is indeed approaching. It would be a good idea to visit while you're out shopping.
