Momos Coffee
Geumjeong-gu, Busan • Cafe
So that's why they do Momos. Seoul? Of course, that's right. As much as there is demand, it's only natural that many good cafes are situated there according to market principles. However, Busan, which has recently emerged as a rival hub, defies this rule with many excellent cafes gathered there. This place, where Jeon Juyeon, the first Korean World Barista Champion, works, is also the first place mentioned when doing a cafe tour in Busan, and people from all over the country come to taste its coffee and beans. The place I visited with expectations of taste alone, near the hot spring resort, felt like a scene out of a Taiwanese or Japanese movie after renovating an old space. Without any plans to take photos, I found myself wandering around and taking pictures. Even though I have visited Busan four or five times this year, it was only after seeing the coffee and the space that I understood why this place is mentioned.
