Kotts Cafe, located on Seoul Forest Cafe Street, is a newly opened cafe. In spring and autumn, Seoul Forest is a popular spot for picnics, and you can feel that winter is not as cold as expected. The alley where Kotts Cafe is situated is full of unique and charming spaces. Depending on the season, you can see a large tree outside, and if you go down half a floor, you'll find a simple and emotional beautiful terrace. Even though the weather was very chilly, the atmosphere of the terrace felt like an early preview of warm spring. The interior space uses buttercream color as its base with brown, blue, and indie pink as accent colors. The simple movement line and the harmony of natural colors were pleasing. The cafe has share tables and wall tables set up in the center, and it's a place where you can enjoy a variety of desserts, including roll cakes that you can start enjoying from January. The packaging of the roll cakes also seems to reflect the unique sensitivity of Kotts Cafe. We are thankful for the variety of baked goods provided by the friendly owner and staff. It seems like a good place to find desserts to gift someone. Pets are allowed, so you can spend a comfortable time with your adorable pet. Kotts Cafe uses Coffee Libre beans and offers decaffeinated options as well. I enjoyed Kotts Coffee, which is their signature drink, containing oat milk with espresso and vanilla milk foam. The harmony of oat milk and vanilla milk foam was pleasant. The music in Kotts Cafe is based on jazz and POP carol genres. Although carols could be a bit short in talking in any space these days, considering selecting carols that fit the space's atmosphere is necessary. The atmosphere at Kotts Cafe I experienced might focus more on the POP and Lo-fi genres in selection. There are quite a lot of carols in the Lo-fi genre, and certainly, the POP genre is overflowing. It would be better to provide a not too casual feeling, more on the medium or less ornate side, among the POP genre carols.
