1100 Highland Rest Area

Hello~ I'm Jinmaeum, the keeper of Bobo's Story space :) Today, I went to the 1100 altitude rest area. Recently, the weather has suddenly turned cold, right? However, Jeju Island is still maintaining temperatures above freezing. A few days ago, it snowed on the upper parts of Hallasan, so I went to the 1100 altitude rest stop to see the snow. As I was driving up the mountain, at some point, the branches were covered with snow, which was fascinating. It felt like entering a winter country. 😄 This was my second visit to the 1100 altitude rest stop, and it felt very different with the snow piled up! Seeing the trees covered in white snow really brought out the year-end vibe. 🥰 After walking around the 1100 altitude wetlands, the clouds cleared, and the sun began to shine. Then, the snow piled up on the trees started melting and fell on top of my head. 😢 It was a bit sad to see the snow melt away, but since winter is just beginning, I suppose I'll see 1100 altitude covered in snow again? It seems like this was almost my first time entering a snowy forest. I've always only seen roads covered with snow. Living in Jeju, I'll often see this landscape and walk through it, right? Someday, I also want to climb Hallasan covered in snow. ☺️ The World Cup game between South Korea and Portugal has started! I would be so happy with a good result.
