Giau Pass

I visited a landscape in Italy's northern Dolomites, Passo Giau, that few others have seen. It was so beautiful that I went back two days later, but the snow wasn't as pristine as what I'd seen on the first day. The tip of my nose was cold, and the wind was chilly, but there was nothing as pleasant as the smell of winter.
