Today, a treat for myself, Uijeongbu Art Library

Uijeongbu Art Library is located in Minrak-dong, Uijeongbu. Having often gone to Uijeongbu, it was a space my wife and I wanted to visit, and though our stay was brief, the aftertaste of the practically arranged space for its users still lingers.

The main keyword of the art library is "connection," and it's impressive how the high ceilings and low bookshelves make the space feel open. The maximization of the openness of the space is charming. It operates from the underground parking lot to the third floor.

The first floor is the Art Ground, mainly consisting of books related to art such as architecture, painting, crafts, and photography. The second floor is the General Ground, which operates as a space with a clear purpose for both children and adults to enjoy together, and the third floor is the Multi Ground, a space for experience and community with a cafe prepared. The curation corner called "Librarian's Collection" is popular, and curation seems like the most important keyword in any field these days.

The music of Uijeongbu Art Library is silence. Sometimes when I review a space, I say that no music is the music that suits the space. Uijeongbu Art Library was such a space.
