The most authentic way to experience Mount Fuji. This place allows you to view the beautiful, majestic, and grand Mt. Fuji at its finest. During my visit, there were quite a few people, so I couldn't take portrait shots, but I would love to visit again just to take one. Tips for visiting this place: As you can see from the direction of the shadows of the cars, I took the photo around 2 PM, which was exactly when the backlighting was. So, for those taking photos with smartphones, if you expose for the person, the background of Mt. Fuji and the sky might get washed out, and vice versa, if you expose for Mt. Fuji, the person might be too dark. I recommend focusing and exposing for the person and lowering the brightness to shoot darker, then adjust the dark parts' details in editing. Too cumbersome? Then go in the morning when the illumination is just right, with the light coming in from behind toward the direction of Mt.
