Among the many ways to get to Arashiyama in Kyoto, there is one that is highly recommended. The Randen Tram. One can take the tram from 'Shijo Omiya' station to Arashiyama. Securing the very front seat is essential! It allows for taking photos and videos freely, and one can visually observe the tram cockpit. It's a unique mode of transport unlike subways, trains, or buses, making the journey more fun as the scenery unfolds brightly in front. The purple tram is a highlight.
