It was my first time visiting Geoje Island. It was quite a journey from Busan, and even more so to reach the very end of Geoje. That's where I found this little place. The owner, who was of considerable age, was making coffee. Somehow, I felt an instant connection, and we ended up chatting for a while.

The view that then unfolded before my eyes was the beautiful seascape of Yeocha Hongpo. The owner mentioned that this place is also famous as a sunset spot, attracting many visitors. The first floor had square frames and the attic had triangular frames capturing the sea.

It had been a long time since I last watched a sunset, and this was the best sunset I had seen in recent times. Among the places I visited while I was in Korea, this was the best. I must visit again to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee.
