The landmark and 5-star luxury hotel of Brunei, The Empire Hotel. Built for visiting heads of state, the pillars and walls of the hotel are made of gold, symbolizing the royalty, and among all, the impressively large marble bathrooms stood out - having stayed in various resorts and hotels, it was the place with the largest shower room I've ever experienced. The way the sun gently enters the antique room is simply lovely! Especially, the swimming pools scattered around the resort and the vast main pool were truly lovely, and the artificial beach pool with white sand made from crushed corals, watching the red sunset was simply perfect! It was a lovely hotel in every way.
