The place I'm introducing today is the 'Slow Boat' cafe located in Aewol, Jeju. I first saw this place through a feed of an author I like, and I've always thought that I should visit it if I ever go to Jeju, putting it on my priority list when planning a trip to Jeju. Visiting the place in person, the openness of the heights felt from the duplex structure and the calmness provided by the views of the Jeju sea, spread out as if looking at a painting, was heart-calming! The lights and wooden-toned interior furniture brought warmth and calmness at the same time! And with the lovely cats, the intention to revisit was definitely there. The perspective towards the space was the same for many, as lots of people were sitting doing studies, reading, and resting. Visiting in the afternoon and watching the sunset seemed like a great idea too!
