Woo Mool Zip
Jongno-gu, Seoul โข Restaurant
Last Friday, 'Woomoolzip' opened near Naksan Park, offering a dining space focusing on bulgogi and hot pot rice among various broth-based dishes. Descending from the hill-like Naksan Samgeori bus stop, one finds a shop no different from any brick house, yet its entrance exudes a warm and calm atmosphere, seemingly offering a tranquil respite disconnected from the outside world. Unlike other stores in Changsin-dong that leverage their high ground for views, Woomoolzip captivates guests with its spatial charisma alone, without relying on external views. It's the latest project by Glowe Seoul, known for successful spaces in Ikseon-dong and Soje-dong. Despite little initial expectation due to similar spaces by Glowe Seoul after their hot spring house, Woomoolzip impressively satisfies visually, thanks to painstakingly crafted space. Details scattered throughout the restaurant, like the 'Well' character branding on every window seat and wells by the garden window, fill in any gaps in the experience. The restaurant offers deep-separated, private seating areas that allow for concentrated enjoyment of food and company. The tri-combination of beef bulgogi with various vegetables, along with skiyaki-like hot pots, provides guests with unique taste profiles, offering delightful options. The moment one attempts to sip the sweet and salty broth, sunlight through the window sketches the wriggling bamboo leaves, leaving a lasting impression. The hot pot here seems to warm the heart as well. Interestingly, the concept is 'a place where time stops'. Although nearly two hours had passed, it felt as if time truly stopped, making it an engaging stay unaware of time passing. For those seeking to pause time with someone special on a significant day, visiting Woomoolzip in Changsin-dong might be an excellent choice. ๊ฎ By invitation. ๐ Woomoolzip (200 Changsin-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul) ๐ฐ Daily 11:30 - 21:00 (closed on Mondays, Break Time 15:00 - 17:00)
