The Mazzanti family has operated this Florence institution since 1991 and *finally* opened not one, but TWO outposts in the city. If you’re a big mortadella lover like I am, I recommend ordering La Paradiso. With its perfectly sliced mortadella, the most divine pistachio cream, and fresh Tuscan schiacciata bread, it’s truly one of the best sandwiches I ever had. I went with a friend who recently visited the Rome location and she ordered several sandwiches to go so, pro tip: be like her and order several sandwiches to go so you’re not later sad and without sandwiches, like me.
