AYU SPACE
Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi • Cafe
A 3,500 pyeong space, used as a private villa for over 40 years, has been reborn as the cultural complex Ayu Space, under the guidance of architect Cho Byoungsoo. True to architect Cho Byoungsoo's works, which speak of merging with nature through simple forms, Ayu Space boasts a sleek and simple architectural beauty. It embraces the changing lights of the seasons on the banks of the North Han River, and from inside, a wide courtyard opens up to embrace the expansive sky. The cafe offers specialty hand-dripped coffee, wine, brunch, and more. A variety of exhibitions are planned for the future in a gallery housed in a Hanok.
