Millennium Hilton Seoul
Seoul station, Seoul • Hotel
Located in Jung-gu, Seoul, 'Millennium Hilton Seoul' will disappear into history after this year. Opened in November 1983, Millennium Hilton Seoul was designed by Kim Jong-seong, a first-generation modern architect. It has been recognized as an architectural masterpiece of the 1980s in Korea. Surprisingly, the lobby of the Hilton hotel (Photo 4) looks almost unchanged from its completion in 1983 to the present. In the hotel's main lobby, you can see the actual guest room amenities, staff uniforms, and utensils used from the 1980s to the present, and in the basement lobby floor, you can also see the miniature 'Hilton Train', which has been a beloved hallmark of the Millennium Hilton. Architects recognized as a masterpiece, the first domestic hotel designed by a Korean architect, and a place full of memories for many people, 'Millennium Hilton Seoul' seems like it's time to really send it to memory. Location: Millennium Hilton Seoul, 5ga 295, Namdaemun-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul, Korea. Closing date: December 31, 2022. Tips: 'Millennium Hilton Seoul' will close its business on December 31st. It is recommended to take note. :)
