Restaurant David Toutain
7ème Ardt, France • Restaurant
A place in Paris where you can experience natural French cuisine based on creativity, Restaurant David Toutain. Chef David Toutain, who was expected to have a bright future when he became the sous chef at Arpège (Paris) at the age of 20. After Arpège, he worked at prestigious restaurants such as Pierre Gagnaire (Paris), Ambroisie (Paris), Mugaritz (Spain), and Corton (New York), and poured his experiences into the place he opened in 2013, Restaurant David Toutain. There are many places in France that do French cuisine well, but there are only a few dining experiences that receive a lot of love for interpreting it in their style. The process of seeing how the chef's thoughts on cooking unfold into dishes was very impressive even as I ate the longest course today. Thinking of him as one of the very modern chefs in Paris in terms of interpretation and expression of ingredients, without his accumulated experience and skill, such works would never be created. If you want an interesting dining experience in Paris, not just an ordinary one, how about visiting David Toutain? I gratefully enjoyed the meal. Open Monday-Friday, closed on weekends.
