As you turn the familiar corner, you find yourself facing a building that exudes a completely new presence with its complex design and spatial composition compelling attention. Among the spaces I've visited, it ranks in the upper class for its exceptional beauty and perfection. Its name is Pitc, striving for the concept of "Pearl In The Clay".
📍A softly firm presence
It carries the atmosphere of relaxation found in luxury resorts. The interior space, coated in beige, harbors both light and darkness. The openness from installed windows and the coziness from the dim lighting do so. Tables with softly finished edges and walls that replicate the texture of leaves show an outstanding sense of harmony between lines and surfaces.
📍Maintaining moderation
Pitc creates a unique spatial vocabulary by utilizing wall structures. Instead of doors between walls, open gaps relieve the claustrophobic view. There's a moderation in revealing some parts while hiding others. It's a space that simultaneously carries public and private characteristics.
Thanks to this method, people can enjoy their own comfort and territory within the flexible structure of the walls even if they share the same floor. It's the power of a space design that subtly adjusts the open junctions and blockage of vision. Pitc precisely understands the relationship between humans and architectural elements.
Inside the 2nd floor, a huge table is placed. In a space dominated by straight lines and wide surfaces, an oval curved table seeks harmony. The vision that could be trapped in the large volume and weight reaches the quince tree outside the window, naturally resolving itself.
Having discovered a pearl named Pitc in the ordinary streets, its composition made of cozy textures is recommended. The charm of the space where the movement and sight flows leisurely between just the right gaps is advised to be experienced.
