Ugot Bruncherie
Barcelona, Spain • Restaurant
Invited to a year-end meal of a large Spanish family, Ugot Bruncherie exudes a warm and cozy feeling. The service is full of affection beyond kindness, and the brunch with its unique and satisfying taste, as well as the seasonally inspired desserts, were all impressive. The dish I enjoyed the most among all the menus I tasted that day was Benedict KOH. A unique dish heaped with a light cream based on coconut milk, lime, and green curry on a fluffy homemade brioche bread. Imagine that? A menu that could easily become greasy and overwhelming because of the chicken and eggs is perfectly balanced with cilantro and red chili. I also want to try all of more than ten varieties of tarts and unique coffee menus on my next visit to Barcelona :)
