아로보서울
Garosu-gil, Seoul • Restaurant
A new contemporary bar in Sinsa-dong, opened by a chef specializing in French & Japanese cuisine: Arrovo Seoul. Located near Sinsa Station, 'Arrovo Seoul' is a dining & wine bar that considers the ecstatic feeling ('arrovo') arising from food, wine, and people as an ideal state. The owner, who learned French at 'Sugorabo' in Japan, a producer for Louis Vuitton restaurant, and then returned to Korea to study Japanese cuisine, ambitiously prepared and opened this place. From appetizers to main dishes, pasta, and desserts, it offers a variety of menus that can be enjoyed with various wines. The mackerel dish we tasted was full of freshness, whetting the appetite sufficiently, and the large scallop grill met with herb butter Beurre blanc sauce, providing a perfect blend of umami and richness. The crispy on the outside, moist on the inside croissant quiche, the tender lamb leg stew, and the refreshing strawberry dessert made for a thoroughly satisfying meal. At 'Arrovo Seoul', you can experience the ecstatic emotions that arise from the chemical reactions among people, food, and wine.
