MADE林 is a comprehensive cultural space on Yeongjong Island. It feels like a new environment of nature has formed on Yeongjong Island for us. MADE林, with the concept of 'forest of culture,' is the first church in Yeongjong-do (Yongyu-do) recycled into a multifaceted cultural space. You can enjoy coffee, bakery, dining, music, and exhibitions all at once, and the overall space concept is based on the motif of 'the primeval forest,' showing the formation of a forest with various elements such as land, water, light, darkness, sky, and garden gathering. MADE林 can be interpreted in two ways: as a place that 'creates someone's dream' and as a 'place with new nature.' The space consists of three buildings: the Hall of the Forest, where you can enjoy cafe/bakery/dining and performances are scheduled in the evening, the Pavilion of the Forest, where the concept of 'the beginning of sensation' is displayed, and the Heritage Hall, which is a renovated interior of the first church in Yongyu-do with a 100-year history, where you can enjoy the preserved garden after experiencing 'the beginning of sensation' in the Pavilion of the Forest. It felt like a space that shows something beyond anyone's imagination, finding inspiration and answers from nature and sharing them with everyone visiting MADE林.
