Hooseong Restaurant in Hwangridan-gil, where tradition meets modernity. Hooseong Restaurant is a Korean restaurant located in Hwangridan-gil, Gyeongju. Hwangridan-gil is a street in Gyeongju that is famous for not having a quiet day of the week, and if you go a little inside the alley at the entrance of Hwangridan-gil, you will find Hooseong Restaurant. Established in 1951, the restaurant went through many changes and was renamed to Gyeongju Grandma's House in 1984 by the third generation, continuing the tradition until now. The current fourth generation has reopened this weekend with the addition of new dishes to the traditional grilled bulgogi and braised short ribs. The atmosphere of the space is impressive with a harmony of modern and traditional that can appeal to the younger generation, along with the reasonably priced braised short ribs and various unique side menus. We hope you find the joy of traveling in Gyeongju at Hooseong Restaurant, where tradition and modernity meet in Hwangridan-gil.
