Since opening its doors in Times Square in 1996, City'Super has elevated the standard of supermarkets in Hong Kong. It welcomes customers with a selection of wines, meats, fish, vegetables, fruits, and a variety of spices, among which Himalayan salt and truffle oil are the most popular items. There's an innumerable variety of wine-related foods as well, including all sorts of cheeses and salads, which capture the hearts of commuters on their way home. Many households in Hong Kong lack kitchens, so City'Super also offers a wide range of ready-to-eat items such as sandwiches, pasta, kimbap, sushi, and salads. Currently, it operates chains in only four locations: Central 'IFC', Tsim Sha Tsui 'Harbour City', Sha Tin 'New Town Plaza', and Causeway Bay 'Times Square'.
