Kamakurakōkō-Mae Station
Kanagawa prefecture, Japan • Travel
Visited Kamakurakokomae Station, famous among 'Slam Dunk' fans, as part of my journey. It's a place of pilgrimage for fans of the series, and being one of them, I made a point to stop by. 🏀 The tourist off-season and early hours (around 8-9 AM) offered a serene exploration opportunity, and the iconic scene from the opening can be perfectly viewed as the train passes by. Apart from myself, there were a couple of teams capturing their commemorative photos, making me ponder on the enduring love for this place, soon evoking precious memories of my youth. For those who grew up with 'Slam Dunk' through TV and comics, it's definitely worth a visit. Although I stayed for a short while, it added another delightful memory of visiting my beloved Enoshima! 😀 📍Enoshima Dentetsu Line > Kamakurakokomae Station (Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan) ⭐️ It's a 90-minute subway ride from Tokyo, making it a worthwhile visit if you're planning to be in Tokyo. Traveling on the Dentetsu Line from Enoshima provides beautiful views of Enoshima's seascape.
