A legend among French chefs, Georges Blanc, who has maintained Michelin 3 stars since 1981, offers fine dining. It's a challenging journey of about an hour and a half by train and bus from Lyon, but upon arrival, you'll find a small village entirely enveloped by the chef’s presence, including the hotel, restaurant, and wine shop. Despite being over 80 years old, he maintains this fame and is an idol for those learning French cuisine. While the restaurant has been operating for a considerable time, presenting classic, bold French food, which might be subject to individual preference, the perfection of the recipes developed over decades is inexpressible. Every aspect of the salmon dish, from the cooking and sauce to the temperature and texture, was of the highest level. Given the accumulated weight of such experience, it indeed seems a must-visit for lovers of French cuisine. I am gratefully well-fed thanks to this.
