Rumah Toean, Bekasi // One homey spot for all kind of communities; its lush open air backyard is captivating. Especially on windy days. :) The indoor itself is also well ventilated; all doors and windows are wide opened. So worry not about the heat at noon, they have high ceiling anw.
It was my first time exploring Bekasi, and what an honour to experience such a lovely place. While we’re enjoying our Tapai Goreng (and others Indonesian food), we had a chance to chitchat with one of the their team; telling us the history of the place.
So the homey concept was born, started from the owner’s consideration to build a space for communities to share knowledge, eperience, stories and else. The decor and interior was inspired by the colonial style. Plus they’ve go a multipurpous room for intimate events.
Just don’t be surprise if you see diffrent kindnof workshop and events there.
