I visited Five Acres which is the new, seasonally-driven restaurant from acclaimed chef Greg Baxtrom in Midtown (his first Manhattan restaurant) today.

Notably, the new breakfast and lunch menus offer fresh-baked pastries and breads from Five Acres’ pastry chef Alessandra Altieri Lopez (who spent years overseeing menus at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon and Per Se).

It is located by Rockefeller center so it's a touristy location. However, if you are around the area, I recommend dining here to start the day or as a lunch break. I highly recommend ordering the broccoli and cheddar soup, and the avocado toast!
