I visited Choi's Charcoal BBQ. It's easily accessible from either Yongsan Station or Sinyongsan Station. It's a fantastic place that entices you to start mixing soju and beer from the afternoon. I ordered the Iberico Assortment (pork neck, ribs, sirloin). A plate full of beautifully colored meat was prepared. Starting with the least fatty pork neck, followed by ribs and sirloin, in that order. There's no gamey smell. The charcoal is so good that the meat cooks deliciously in no time. The quality of the meat is beyond words. It's juicy and the texture is exquisite. The side dishes are also tasty. The staff work happily and are very kind. The meat calls for alcohol. I added rice to the doenjang stew. The stew is rich because they don't skimp on the ingredients. It was so delicious that I also added cold bibim noodles. You keep on ordering more. The steamed egg was served as a complimentary dish. The owner, wearing a suit, gently monitors whether you are enjoying your meal. The moment you taste Choi's meat, you'll become a regular.
