#Today'sSpaceCollection
Woorimaki, known for its Japanese-style sushi rolls "Futomaki," has landed in Seongsu-dong, Seoul from Seomyeon, Busan. For reference, Futomaki is a thickly made sushi roll. Unlike thinly made gimbap, the thick sushi roll called 'Futomaki' refers to in Western Japan simply as 'sushi roll.' It's made with various ingredients such as rolled omelets, koyadofu, pickled mustard leaves, and shiitake mushrooms, with a diameter of more than 5cm. [Naver Dictionary]
Woorimaki offers a variety of menus made with fresh ingredients, and since its opening, it has been a place where the hustle and bustle of people never stops. At the time of visit, it was so popular that many people were waiting, and especially the exterior and interior reminiscent of Japanese landscapes are significant reasons for visiting this place.
From the diverse Japanese-style sushi rolls modified to suit the taste of Koreans, such as Ueongmaki, Futomaki, Furai Maki, Tendon Maki, and Sashimi Maki, to the crunchy tempura of 10 kinds (shrimp, squid, lotus root, shiitake mushroom, kabocha, sweet potato, Cheongyang pepper, crown daisy, seaweed) and the refreshing broth with chewy udon creating a fantastic combination, the "Special Tempura Udon" is a flagship menu that must be tried along with Maki.
