Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Seoul Myeongdong
Jung-gu, Seoul โข Hotel
Two years later, I came back and felt it again. Sigh. This hotel. The location is really strong. One thing to note. There are a lot of delicious restaurants nearby. As soon as you check in, you end up snacking all day long. Be careful as you might gain another 2kg after checking out. The hotel we're talking about today is 'Four Points by Sheraton Myeongdong'. Let's get started.
๐Incredible location.
The hotel's location is also part of the experience. Arriving within 30 seconds after getting off at Euljiro 3-ga Station. That means right next to Euljiro. Hip places are gathered here. Nowadays, most of these places require waiting, but don't wait outside. Use the 'Tabling' app remotely from your room, and when it's your turn, just pop out.
Euljiro and Myeongdong. A little further are Jonggak and City Hall, and even Seochon. It's heaven for interesting places. Maybe that's why, recently, a significant number of the hotel guests are foreigners.
๐Always a pleasant view of Namsan Tower.
You can see views you can't easily see from home at the hotel. Another reason perhaps to go to hotels. This place embraces the Namsan Tower view.
A table and a chair with a leather cushion by the window. Sit here and have a glass of wine from noon. You will feel as though time has slowed down from double speed to half speed.
๐No frills. That's why it's more comfortable.
Room types in the 100,000 to 200,000 won range. Plain without decoration. It's rather nice not having anything that bothers the view. Let's not try to add something more.
Furthermore, the spacious feeling due to the wall at the entrance of the room and near the bed makes it feel neither cramped nor narrow.
I would recommend turning on the TV and playing a calm lo-fi beat playlist on YouTube and just zoning out.
-> For reference, the room service was fun too. For example, pizza + seafood pasta + 2 drinks for 3.2 / Worth a try.
If going down to the first floor to pick up delivery is too bothersome, consider using room service as an option.
In summary, you can treat Euljiro as a facility. There's nothing to fear. And you can experience a plain rest.
There's a Starbucks on the first floor, so grabbing an iced coffee when you check out makes it all the more neat.
