Haengjusanseong (Haengju Fortress)

Haengjusanseong Fortress is a battlefield where General Kwon Yul won a great victory in 1593 (the 26th year of King Seonjo's reign) and fought the Battle of Haengjusan Mountain, one of the three major battles of the Imjin War. Currently, there is a 415m wall built in 1603 and a monument to the Battle of Haengju, and Chungjangsa Temple, the shrine of General Kwon Yul, was built through maintenance in 1970.
