The landscape changes with beautiful light over time at 'Gungpyeong Pine Grove'. You can walk along a 700m path while enjoying the cool blue sea and the scent of pine trees. This pine grove is the fourth of Hwaseong's eight scenic views, transforming into a beautiful beachside at sunset. The Ossol Pavilion, located mid-way through the pine grove, is an experiential art piece that signifies the journey of enjoying the pine forest. The roof, which mimics the waves of the sea, and the pillars, reminiscent of a pine forest, illustrate the harmony of an artificial forest.
