Utopie, a bakery cafe and wine bar in Shinbul-dong, Cheonan, boasts a unique exterior and a European-style interior. The space is compact, but it's equipped with wood bar seating and several tables for four opposite. Full of breads that could be found in any French boulangerie, from pies and pastries to jambon beurre, despite their somewhat rustic visuals. The signature Utopie pie, with its layered pastry, lemon curd, and meringue, offered a delightfully sweet and tangy taste. The croissant, brimming with the scent of butter, was best enjoyed dipped into a frothy latte. Pairing with wine next time seems like a great option.
