Amorepacific Museum of Art
Yongsan Station, Seoul • Entertainment
To commemorate the 5th anniversary of its reopening, the Amorepacific Museum of Art has organized its first exhibition of 2023, 'Joseon, the Land of Screens 2', unfolding from January 26 to April 30. Utilizing a total of seven large and small exhibition spaces, this exhibition offers a closer look at screens not introduced in the 2018 'Joseon, the Land of Screens' exhibition. It focuses on works that are hard to come by in Korean painting history exhibits, combining them with new screen acquisitions by the Amorepacific Museum of Art. Visitors can appreciate the art-historical value and significance of about 50 screens produced from the Joseon Dynasty to the modern era and get an intimate experience of the unique aesthetic of screens. Lastly, through the exhibition, one can recognize the beauty of Korean traditional art. Amorepacific Museum of Art is located at 100 Hangang-daero, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. It operates from January 26, 2023 (Thu) to April 30, 2023 (Sun), from 10 AM to 6 PM (closed on Mondays). Admission is charged (15,000 won for adults). Reservations are available on the Amorepacific Museum of Art's official website.
