Located on an uphill corner near Hoehyeon Station, Vegan Donut Shop 'Overheet'. Open Mon-Fri 08:00~20:00, Sat 11:00~20:00, Sunday closed. In these days, where wellbeing and vegan have become mainstream, I was curious about the taste of vegan donuts. Surprisingly, they didn't taste much different from regular donuts. The fact that you can enjoy the taste pleasure of eating donuts in a healthier way without any difference was new to me. Unlike eating other donuts, I didn't crazily crave an Americano either🤣, and after eating, my mouth felt clean. Eating dessert usually comes with a sense of guilt due to the perception that it's 'bad for the body', but enjoying a dessert comfortably without such guilt allowed for a mentally and physically healthy dessert time. The area around Hoehyeon Station, where the shop is located, is full of offices, so it opens relatively early, making it suitable for nearby office workers or passersby to buy simple snacks and drinks before work or during lunchtime. When I visited a little after 6 pm, there were not many types of donuts left. Thus, the store seemed to focus more on take-out sales than dine-in. There are seats inside, but they are not comfortable chairs, making it difficult to stay for a long time! Lastly, I'd like to thank the store owner, who welcomed us with so much energy despite possibly being tired from opening at 8 am👏🏻
