Tapas 24 has launched seasonal dishes for convivial sharing, with a focus on vegetarian and seafood options.

These are what we had:
1. Tár Tar de Tomate ($12) which has Tomato Tár Tar with toast on the side, and is a vegetarian version of the steak tartare (and tastes like it too!);
2. Pimientos del Piquillo Rellenos de Ceps ($12) which has piquillo peppers stuffed with creamy porcini and shiitake mushrooms;
3. Tostada de Escalivada ($14) prominent in the sharpness of anchovies and green olives caramelised onions, on crisp toast;
4. Carrilleras de Atún, Puré de Chirivía y Demi-Glace De Pedro Ximénez ($38), with well-marbled tuna cheeks on a bed of parsnip purée and veal stock reduction;
5. Calamares a la Plancha con Vinagreta de Pistacho y Alioli de su ($24) with grilled squid stuffed with caramelised onions; served with pistachio vinaigrette and squid ink aioli
6. “Impossible” Mandonguillas con Samfaina ($28) which is homemade plant-based meatballs in Catalan ratatouille;
7. El Pastel de Chocolate de Carles ($14), really good, creamy, rich chocolate cake using 70% Belgium chocolate and rich cream cheese.

It’s a lively place to consider especially if you’re looking for meat-free options. This menu is only available till 31 Dec 2022.
