I went looking for corn pizza and found it at Haenggung-dong Low Five. It opens a bit late at 11:30 am. I had to wait as the fourth in line. Walking around the neighborhood, I was able to enter soon after. Curious about the other menus, I first ordered the signature corn pizza, the limited quantity classic lasagna, and a soda. It seemed like every table had ordered the corn pizza. Apart from lasagna, many seemed to order kimchi fried rice topped with avocado. The corn pizza arrived. Visually, it was as satisfying as the photos I'd seen on blogs. It was rich in toppings and had a cream base instead of a tomato sauce base. When it started to feel a bit greasy, the lasagna came out just in time. The rich cheese and meat toppings on the lasagna caught my eye. There was a generous amount of minced meat, suggesting no skimping on ingredients. However, the cream base of the corn pizza and the cheese of the lasagna combined soon felt greasy. That's when a sip of soda was divine. It cleanly removed the greasiness. Essentially, the use of plentiful ingredients and the good preservation of their individual tastes made me curious about the other menus. Next time, I plan to try the kimchi fried rice and shrimp spicy rigatoni.
