Arabica Ho Chi Minh City Cafe Apartment
Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam • Cafe
The design at Arabica is neat, cozy, and minimalist, reflecting the Japanese spirit that this cafe chain always carries. However, it's not impressive. What impressed me is the price here is quite high, the drinks are still fine, Dark Latte and Spanish Latte gave me a not-bad experience, but with that price, I really don't feel convinced enough to come back, not to mention the 20k for bike parking across the pedestrian street and 3k for the elevator fee per person. If you want a polished experience, at a cafe with a prime location and a balcony to sit and watch the pedestrian street on cool weekend afternoons, and money is not an issue, then Arabica is still an okay choice (Even though there are up to 800 other coffee shops around lol).
Btw, although I still question the sustainability of this cafe chain when integrating into a country with a strong coffee culture like Vietnam, it's still nice that the market has more and more diverse options. Heard there's still one branch in the process of being completed, I still hope the design will be more impressive, and more worth the money.
