Ohyeondan
Jeju, Jeju • Entertainment
Jeju Island is full of cherry blossoms in spring, especially around Ohhyundan in the city center, where you can see beautiful cherry blossoms every April, thanks to many old cherry trees. In this post, I will introduce the cherry blossom path near Ohhyundan that I personally visited. What is Ohhyundan? Ohhyundan is an altar built to honor the will of the Confucian scholars of the Jeju region during the Joseon Dynasty. Today, only steles and pavilions remain, but you can feel the spirit of the ancient scholars and enjoy the pretty cherry blossoms. Unfortunately, there are no dedicated parking lots, but there is a public parking lot nearby, so you can park there and walk. I walked from the Dongmun Market side, and it took about 10 minutes. Mid-April would be the perfect time to visit the cherry blossom path at Ohhyundan!
