Exiting Seoul National University Station and walking through a village full of studio apartments, you'll find 'Goro Coffee Roasters'. The heavy wood-tone atmosphere and natural lighting make the indoor ambiance not too light, providing a space where one can spend time quietly.

Despite visiting at opening time, it was surprising to see many people coming in to enjoy their coffee.

Why 'Goro'? A blast furnace used for tempering steel is called 'Goro' in Korean. The coffee and desserts made here utilize fire and heat, and since humans have historically gathered around fire to share stories and live life, the place was named 'Goro'.

Perhaps this explains why many people come and gather here to taste the coffee at 'Goro' 👀

✨ Beverages/Desserts
As befits a roastery, using their own roasted beans, they offer five types of bean filter coffee and a variety of coffees for those who want to enjoy different coffees. It seems like the best choice and a place full of considerations.

The dessert, especially the homemade financiers, are exquisite, but unfortunately, since I was alone, I ended up just having a beverage and did not get to try the financier 🥲

I will definitely go back to investigate the financier next time...
