The best experience of my Tokyo trip was at an unexpected place - TeamLab Planets Tokyo, an immersive exhibition I thought I had seen enough of. The keyword that made this experience the best was 'boldness.' Right from the start, visitors are made to take off their shoes and dip their feet in water. Among the content, there's even a part where you roll up your pants to your knees and enter a pond. Another bold move was installing mirrors on the floor. Although mirrors are installed on walls and ceilings to create a sense of scale, they are not usually installed on the floor because it can reveal what's under skirts. However, TeamLab Planets Tokyo dared to do this (of course, they provide shorts). The 'scale' that an offline experience should have is also not missed. The size of the space that cannot be fully captured in photos immerses visitors into a deeper world of fantasy. The quality of the content is already world-class, not to mention the perfect sound level. Located in Odaiba, away from the center of Tokyo, and with many immersive exhibitions also opening in our country, I initially wondered if it was necessary to go. However, having visited, I would have regretted it greatly if I hadn’t. It has become the top recommendation to my acquaintances planning to visit Tokyo. Due to the popularity, it’s recommended to reserve a visiting time slot on their website in advance. More photos and writings are posted on my blog. 📍Team Planet Tokyo @teamlab.planets ▪️6 Chome-1-16 Toyosu, Koto City, Tokyo ▪️[Mon-Fri] 10:00-20:00 [Sat, Sun] 09:00-21:00 ▪️Reservation on TeamLab Planet's website ▪️Adult 3,200 JPY
