Juknokwon, selected by the Korea Tourism Organization as a Safe Tourism Site, is an excellent tourist location for everyone to feel at ease and continue traveling amidst the changed daily life, recommended by local governments for its outstanding epidemic prevention and safety management. Located in Damyang County, Juknokwon is a bamboo forest established around Sungsan Mountain area and opened in March 2005. The total 2.2 km walking path consists of eight themed paths including Fortune Road, Bamboo Horse Companion Road, and Philosopher's Road. The walking paths start from the Juknokwon Observatory, where one can overlook Damyang Stream, Damyang Gwanbangjerim, composed of trees over 300 years old, and Damyang's famous Metasequoia-lined streets.
