Brew Works
Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do • Cafe
BrewWorks is an industrial-style cafe located opposite the Suncheon Agricultural Cooperative. The cafe has been converted from a grain warehouse. Its signature is not coffee but cocoa latte (6000 won), boasting the highest grade cocoa from Palo Santo, Ecuador, known as A.S.S.S. There are many eye-catching items, such as steam engines decorating the factory walls, and conveyor belts from the factory turned into tables. Urban regeneration is trendy, but Suncheon's BrewWorks is a masterpiece of ruins aesthetics. Inside BrewWorks, beer can't be directly purchased or consumed; it must be bought via a vending machine within the cafe. After buying the beer, the principle is to move outside to the terrace or to the adjacent Suncheon Brewery to drink it. The 1st and 2nd floors of Suncheon Brewery are operated as a bar and cafe, and the 3rd floor is used for various seminars and workshops. It operates from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and pets are allowed on the terrace.
