Fujifilm X Gallery
Dosan Park / Apgujeong Rodeo, Seoul • Culture
This is not an exhibition by actress Lee Na-young, but by writer Lee Na-young. Various cameras can be seen at the Fujifilm photo gallery where the exhibition is held, and visitors can try holding and shooting with them. The paintings, primarily monochrome, appear simple yet illustrative, effectively conveying situations. Among the works are charming and warm depictions of dogs, cats, and possibly other people (his wife?). The relationship between the artist and the dog, whether simply a subject of his works or his own pet, seems deeply intimate as reflected in the art. Overall, the exhibit exudes simplicity and rapport.
