fairy tales for parents

Those who have not yet had children do not know. How difficult it is to find a place to have fun with your kids. Parents have no choice. I just want my child to have fun and play safely, and I want to get out of reality even for a weekend and put some wind in my nose. However, it is not easy to find a place that satisfies these conditions in Seoul. In general, large cafes in the suburbs of Seoul are the main targets, and at the same time, there are very few places where parents can play with their children without paying attention.

In the end, in summary, a place where children can have a safe and enjoyable experience without being noticed, and where they are freed from reality is like a fairy tale for parents with young children.

Today's space is a space that satisfies them all.

Even if you read it as a space, the composition itself is like a fairy tale, far from reality. A hotel is basically a space that gives you complete freedom from chores. At the same time, it distances itself from work, and it is also a good place to find time again when you are left alone at home with nothing. However, it is true that hotel space does not show very diverse types in its composition, and follows certain rules of composition. Contrary to the purpose of hotel guests, a hotel must consider the maximum profit in the minimum time, and at the same time, if it is necessary to build a hotel at an appropriate level and at the minimum cost, there are some restrictions.

Hotels do not share wards. Even if they are constructing a hotel under the name of a luxury hotel, they usually try to put many rooms in one huge building. The reason is vertical circulation space [called core, English expression is different depending on the country, but in Korea, it refers to a space including water supply, electricity, vertical circulation, and structure. It is convenient considering the place where the elevator and the stairs are attached] because each building takes up space and reduces the number of rooms. In addition, the hotel requires a staff movement called 'BOH (Back of House)'. This should not overlap with the customer's main flow, and it should be a reasonable flow that can efficiently move all rooms. In addition, there is pressure on the number of rooms to enter the staff rest area for cleanliness work in a place where guests cannot see it. In the end, the moment the hotel space is divided into buildings, the vertical movement and the employee movement will increase. As such, the hotel has no choice but to lose the number of rooms. In other words, it is rare to divide a building into a hotel. It is possible if the revenue model is different from the hotel, but the hotel is a difficult condition to do.

The above story is a realistic story facing the hotel. However, today's space is out of reality and has a fairy tale-like composition.

A fully weighted hotel, moreover, it is not a high hotel, but a low hotel building, and the park is well decorated as the central space. In terms of floor space, it is half a park and half a hotel, and within the park there are even manicured huts, tea houses, coffee shops and restaurants. The hocance experience that guests experience with a small village-like configuration is different from the familiar hocance experience. If you watch the children running around in a fairy-tale garden there, you will experience a more fairy-tale-like moment. There are very limited places where children can run and play in the hotel, but since this place is half a park, there is a lot of space for children to play freely.

The hotel, located in the mountains beautifully dyed with the colors of autumn, evokes a fairy tale fantasy through the cute dong configuration, the arrangement of commercial spaces, and the creation of a park. The child's parents can take turns taking a break to watch the child, which reflects the freedom from chores and the food, coffee, tea and rest needed for the weekend. The most important thing is that it guarantees a safe and enjoyable experience for your child. Of course, it is a fun place for everyone.

This is a fairy tale Eden Paradise Hotel for parents.

Even if I say I want to build a hotel, I talk about it around the neighborhood, so if there is a new hotel/stay, I have an opportunity to visit it first. The same is true of this place we will be discussing today. To summarize in one line, it is very simple. '🤔You did it here'

Then I'll start chatting in earnest.
(Stay information is at the bottom of the article)

As soon as you open the door, the scent of the forest gently tickles the tip of your nose. It's definitely in the middle of Seoul, but it feels like you've been to a different country for a while. This place slows down the tempo of our days that pass as fast as a stopwatch.

This is a warm hanok stay that has been open for less than a month, and it is called 'Munhyangjae', which is located in a crevice of an alley in Seochon. There is not much information about this place yet. So, I wanted to pass on the news to our vacation lovers. If you have been looking for a good place to spend a leisurely time in a hanok in this busy year, I think this content will be helpful.

Let's take a look at each one in detail.

As soon as I came to this place, there were a few elements that made the sound of 'c...'.

📍The outdoor open-air bath that makes you happy just by looking at it.

oh this is a foul A combination of hanok + open-air bath. It's a combination like a glass of soju for defense. There is a small courtyard in the 'C'-shaped hanok structure, which has an open-air bath. It's a pity that it's difficult to use in the winter, but just looking at it makes me happy.

When all the doors in the hotel are opened, the feeling of openness in the room is also considerable. I wonder what it would be like if it was spring and autumn now. Let's go out to the yard where the open-air bath is for a while and lift our heads up. The sky seen through the roof of a hanok. You will feel as if the hardships of the past year are melting away.

📍 No TV. Instead, you can lie in bed and watch Netflix with Beam.

Let's go into the bedroom. wide. It's wider than I thought. Why did you design this space so wide?
He groaned and sat down on the bed. And it was 'WoW'. With the click of a button, the screen comes down from the ceiling. finished. You can turn off all the lights and lay in bed and hit Netflix. This is a private movie theater. It is a moment where I can experience my romance indirectly. sound? No problem. Bose speaker is waiting.

📍 Experience immersed in silence.

All facilities/beam in front are good. But this is for a short time. I wanted to focus more on this space. It is recommended to come here, turn off the music on the speaker for a while, and drink a cup of tea. Meanwhile, the teacup is a product of 'Gwangjuyo'. Is it because of the feeling? It seems more delicious.

We were exposed to noise all day long. The time when you are immersed in silence and not thinking about anything, even for a moment, is so precious. The sound of trees planted in the yard rustling in the wind. Except for the sound of a cat stepping on the ceiling and passing by, nothing but silence flows.

📍Open the door and walk 10 steps to a restaurant paradise.

Munhyangjae in Seochon Eat Alley. You can fall into happy troubles. Food heaven right in front. It is a place full of beautiful cafes as well as various restaurants. Munhyangjae's auxiliary facilities are sufficient.

📍Things to know in advance.

Nothing in the world is 100% perfect. There is no parking available at Moonhyangjae. You must use a nearby public utility. However, it is a 6-minute walk from Gyeongbokgung Station, so it is good to come on foot. The hotel/stay experience starts from the moment you walk in.

🔹Room type: Single room
🔹Price: 20-40 million won
🔹Reservation: Naver reservations available
🔹Parking: Use nearby public spaces
🔹Location: 6 minutes on foot from Gyeongbokgung Station

Jeju Island 100-Year-Old Hanok The 100-year-old hanok in Jeju Island was built by the best carpenter at the time. Since then, it has been beautifully decorated to provide an experience suitable for the present in the modern era with several artists. Transforming a residential space into a lodging facility would be a great opportunity to fully enjoy the skills of a veteran. A day in a hanok under the quiet Jeju moonlight becomes a short trip from the busy modern era to the past. - Welcoming the Moonlight, Seogwipo Seoho Moonlight - It is said that in 1920, the best carpenter, Mr. Oh, was called to build the best house. Seoho Village in Jeju Island. It really is a village. There are no convenient things around. There is only one small convenience store, and there are only villagers' houses around. Thanks to this, it has a quiet village atmosphere. This house, which had been around for nearly 100 years, was remodeled while maintaining its old taste as much as possible. Delicately and beautifully made in line with modern residential functions. - When a day traveler arrived here with luggage like a house, the owner of the house was tending the garden. After telling him only how to open the door and how to fill the outdoor spa with warm water, he suddenly left. When you open the door, you can see the structure of an old hanok. A poem welcoming guests is written on top of the lower floor. A quiet, well-lit space. And take a look around the space. Check out our private outdoor spa. On a good day, I thought, 'At that moment when the sun goes down slowly, you'll see the water in the bathtub change the sky blue'. And look around the bedroom and the loess jjimjilbang. This is the most anticipated place on my Jeju trip. I liked this room very much because I, who like jjimjilbangs, have never been able to go to a jjimjilbang while the corona is on the rise, so regardless of the day, my desire for a jjimjilbang soars. Although electric blankets are available now, won't it be possible to use them someday when they come back? It may be because of the fact that there is a furnace. Anyway, I climbed up one step from the tungmaru and looked at the living room and the jjimjilbang and looked at the bedrooms. There are a lot of bedrooms here, considering it is based on 6 people. It is so spacious and ready to use. - And the old wooden floor and pillars give you a very different feeling from the modern hotels we usually experience. Long ago, my grandmother's house was a tiled house. Even there, these pillars were hardly visible. But here it is. It gives a different experience while retaining the similar old scent. It's fun. And the old-looking radio plays the prepared music. Turning on a radio in this spacious house brings about a friendly and friendly atmosphere. - Then, I lay my tired body on the bed in the master bedroom. - I fell asleep. The sun has already gone down. - I tried to enjoy the room in a hurry, but I leisurely enjoyed the room. 'Well, this is good! Isn't travel like this?' Then go out to the garden of this house where the sun has set and feel the fresh air. Magnolias are in full bloom and rape flowers are swaying in the breeze. good. Someday, I'll have to build a house with a garden like this. The garden, which had been cherished without reason because it had never been used, has now become a small goal. - The sun goes down slowly. I'll have to go get something to eat. After getting information that there is a market nearby, he hurriedly leaves. I came to the end of the market while I was obsessed with goods made with Jeju tangerines. A sushi restaurant located at the end of the market. Today, at the boss's recommendation that the dome is delicious, I ask you to pack it without hesitation. A plate of sashimi in one hand and a bag of Cheon Hye-hyang in the other. It looks like it will be a satisfying evening. Take a bottle of Mt. Halla from near the dorm and go to Seoho Village. - The sun has gone down. When you arrive, you can see the true scenery of this house. The stars and the moon are clear in the clear night sky of Jeju. It is very impressive to see him smiling brightly with the garden in a small house under the moonlight. - Mt. Halla is going to be sweet today! - This is Seoho Dalbit, a private pension in Seogwipo, Jeju, a space that welcomes the moonlight of Seoho Village.

Emotional stay that can be a gift to each other
Yo-yo

Yoyohi is a private stay in a quiet village in Gyeongju. This is the first successful place to book a stay outside of Seoul. This place I went to because I fell in love with a single SNS photo was an emotional stay that could only be found in a fairy tale, and the large garden and bamboo forest behind the stay were impressive. I had the most peaceful day this year in a quiet village near Bulguksa Temple.

The sunlight entering the living room and the simple interior space make it an attractive space that does not burn your taste. I haven't experienced a stay a few times, but even a very pretty stay had some minor inconveniences. Yo-yohi was comfortable enough to feel like it was created from the perspective of the person staying there. My wife said the kitchen shelves were very pretty, so I asked the source of the purchase, and she said that she made them all by herself.

Yo-Yohi's Welcome Music is colored with jazz carols. It's a selection that goes well with the Christmas season, and I think a calm piano piece would be better after the season. When I think of yo-yo-hi, pretty couples hang out with me, but I often think of families visiting with small children. I think it would be good if it was a song that was warm like the sunlight coming in from a simple indoor space.
