Check out these laptop-friendly coffee shops to grind out the work you have and for a simple change of scenery while enjoying a delicious cup of coffee or tea.
St Jardim
A cafe by day and natural wine bar by night. It does not get better than this. This is my new favorite hangout in the West Village, especially for getting some work done.
Devoción
A coffee roaster located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn that will make you feel like you’re in the tropics. While it’s spacious, it gets quite busy so definitely get there early if you’re looking to claim a table to get some work done.
Sweet Moment
This Chinatown coffee and dessert shop is widely known for its incredibly cute latte art. People come from all over the world to check it out. They have plenty of food items so if you work from here, you’ll be covered for the day and plus, you’ll also be surrounded by incredible food in Chinatown!
Ludlow Coffee Supply
A Lower East Side favorite serving a great variety of dishes in a very comfortable space with large tables, ledges and couches to work from.
Blank Street Coffee
Blank Street is rapidly growing with locations all around Manhattan and Brooklyn, some of which are cute carts or walk-up windows.
Kos Kaffe
Located in the heart of Park Slope, this family-owned coffeehouse is one of the loveliest. "Kos Kaffe" (kōs kä fé) conveys the pleasure of one's daily cup in multiple languages. They have coffee, tea and light bites to be ordered at the counter.
If you work from here, laptops are permitted in certain areas Monday through Friday 12pm-3pm and Saturday/Sunday 10am-4pm. At all other times, laptop use is to your discretion.
Hole In The Wall
Overlooking the East River, Hole In The Wall Murray Hill is open for breakfast through to dinner. It’s a well-lit space with floor to ceiling windows and greenery, which makes for an ideal environment.
Madame Bonté Café
Enjoy French music, pastries and a great atmosphere here. This is one of two locations on the Upper East Side. The interior area is small, but there’s plenty of seating outdoors too.
Perk Coffee
A quaint but cozy coffee shop in Murray Hill. The window seat is the best place to be for people watching, working or simply just catching up with friends. I love the rustic-modern design and of course the name.
Remi Flower & Coffee
A beautiful coffee shop with two locations that also duals as a floral shop. They are top notch for latte art and have the most stunning bouquets too.
