Small but strong. And it’s not as far as you think. Cheongju is a city where traces of an ancient city remain and where fragments of modern and contemporary Korean history are embedded. And as modern sentiments are layered on top of the city’s structure, there are many things to see, enjoy, and eat. This time, I prepared a course to lightly enjoy Cheongju, focusing on slightly modern spaces. If you have enough stamina, you can go all in one day. However, traveling is not about being chased by time. It’s about going to places that suit your taste in a short amount of time based on what you know. Isn’t this the travel of today? I’ve collected all the places where you can have a modern and fun experience in Cheongju. ‘Cheongju Travel – Modern Edition’ begins.
Korea's first storage-type art museum

Steps to another world
-
It's a story that happens sometimes in life. 'I feel like I'm in the picture right now!' It's an experience you get when you travel to a wonderful place. To that extent, it is a word that expresses how beautiful the space I was placed in was like a painting, and at the same time, it is a story of imagining myself as a third person looking at me while leaving me in the space. It's a little different from this, but is there any place in the space where you can have a similar experience? Of course, these days, there are places where you can enjoy the paintings of various masters or the works of artists through media exhibitions around the entire space, but today's space is different from that of the elements of space [walls, hallways, columns, floors and It is an experience created by the environment]. It is, by far, the only place in Korea that was once a hotly debated place in Korea. Moreover, various rules that make up this space make this space even more special.
-
This is where Cheongju's cultural manufacturing window was located. A huge warehouse with five floors. This space has been remodeled. A warehouse has an advantage that greatly exceeds the size of a human being taken by it due to its huge structure. Thanks to this, when you enter this space, you can easily feel the high ceiling. Spaces created through remodeling rather than new construction are not easily accessible. Furthermore, it forms a fairly large lobby space to fit the context of an art museum. The entry into this space is the same as other large-scale art. However, as this is Korea's first storage-type museum, a completely different experience begins when you enter the exhibition hall [Sujanggo] through a thin glass film.
-
Even at first glance from the lobby of the open space with glass front, you can feel the hugeness. However, rather than arranging the works according to themes and making a movement route, the impression of keeping the works in a warehouse is deep. Collectibles neatly stacked on iron shelves. I am already curious about the world beyond this glass door. Open the glass door and enter. the temperature is different Humidity also varies. The purpose of this article is 'repository'. Rather than putting people first, the purpose of this space is to keep the work in good condition for a long time. A sudden transition from a cold winter to a warm spring environment. According to the intuitive sense of touch, not the sense of smell or sight, the body perceives the difference in the environment and loosens it. A relaxing and warm start. The environment of the space changes rapidly in less than a second, and you intuitively experience that you are already in another world. It's nice to look at the collections one by one. Since they are not exhibited according to themes, they create countless imaginations at every step according to my taste from their own point of view.
-
After the exhibition inside the storage room is over, you have to go back upstairs and go up. If it was an existing art museum, it was mainly for people to see the work, so if possible, a 'draw one line' movement was made, but the main purpose of this place is storage. Therefore, for the movement path or security of the works, the visitor must exit the exhibition space again and move to another exhibition hall through the elevator. So, according to the rules of the space, I moved upstairs through the elevator. The width of the stairs going up is huge. The elevator was of an appropriate size for people, but it is an appropriate size as it did not consider many visitors. However, the width of the corridor on the floor we reached is incredibly wide. This is because of the rules of space in this storage-type museum. Artworks vary in size. They range from very small works to sizes far beyond the size of a human being. Therefore, I know that it is recommended to make these collections in a certain proportion between the width of the hallway and the width of the storage cabinet [according to my blurred memory, I guess it is about 1:2]. Therefore, the width of the hallway is not a typical size. Because of the width of the corridor, the people's path is wide and free. As such, bookshelves and shelves are placed in a line that does not obstruct the road as a resting and exhibition space for visitors. This floor is not an exhibition that goes into the storage room on the first floor. Looking at the storage room through a huge window in the hallway. As such, this wide hallway tries to provide various conveniences.
-
Pictures seen through the window while walking along the road. Unlike the raw exhibitions viewed right in front of them, seeing only a limited number of exhibitions like this inevitably amplifies the curiosity about the hidden paintings. Because of that, it is fun to walk while imagining the invisible scene rather than the visible scene.
—[Continued in pinned comment]—
Go back to another floor. A storage art museum is also an art museum. The planning exhibition is ready. A special exhibition where the entire space is a storage room for works. There is also an existing exhibition form that looks at various hanging works and viewpoints.
-
However, this space is more than just a place to enjoy the exhibition. Going to be part of the collection would be a more meaningful experience. Every moment you walk through the space, you create your own meaning and imagination in the meaningless arrangement of works, and you become a work of your own. The space re-establishes the physical relationship with the work of art by repeating the process of mixing and isolating an experienced person with a real work of art. It's like the space has grown. Just as the sense of space changes when it becomes smaller, this museum continuously re-establishes the relationship between the artwork and the experiencer by utilizing the characteristics of space. It is to create a different point of view in each moment of walking.
-
Did you say that the world looks different when you change your perspective?
-
Maybe it's one of the big reasons to enjoy art? Seeing the world from different perspectives. Elevating life to the level of art by taking a variety of perspectives along the way. In that context, this space may be metaphorically conveying a message through space.

collection of fragmented spaces
충북시청자미디어센터
torn library
The library may be because of the hard library appearance of when I was growing up, but it is not an easy place to hear. Especially for young children. It looks like a space that compels them to study or read, but in fact, no one in the library is talking about it, but if they don't, they don't force anyone to take any action. However, when we were young, all of us were like, 'Didn't they get injections after being sold for pork cutlet?'. Space also needs such a strategy. The library also needs a new strategy to make it more accessible.
Today's libraries present an interesting strategy. It is an open library in Cheongju, which has entered a huge large-scale complex cultural space. On the first floor, there are spaces selling various food and beverages and spaces selling clothes. The spaces there are not the food courts you saw in the library when you were a child, but colorful spaces that embody the things you dreamed of with your own opinions. And in the center, the beautifully open Boys Space [VOID SPACE _ The open space above your head. In other words, it refers to a space without a floor on the upper floor. It is an open space, and it is easy to think of the escalator space in a department store.], the sunlight falls to the floor. The escalator that goes up and back is the beginning of this library. If you have already been deceived by a pleasant F&B space, your journey to the library has just begun.
There is a recommended book of the month on each floor around the escalator space. There are not only books, but there is also a spatial device that makes you want to sit down and look at it by creating a delicate pocket space [POCKET SPACE _ refer to the story of Songpa Book Museum]. The appearance of the space looking down while going up and the library seats embedded one after another lead them to the last floor without knowing it. It is suitable to arouse interest in the sculptures seen on the top floor. The exhibition space on the middle floor is also one of the decoys to the library. If you follow the light falling from the ceiling and go up the space, you arrive at the library, the last floor.
In the end, the library becomes a 'place that you hear as you go'.
It is a high-level skill that guides and moves the user's movement in space according to spatial awareness. This does not apply precisely to all users, but it is usually appropriate for a space heard without purpose. I didn't know either, so I happened to find out after I arrived at the library.
So the library is literally fragmented. The pieces are scattered through gaps in space to provide functions. It makes the book look natural. And without noticing it, he leads him to the library on the last floor of the room. It's fun. It's like applying the story of 'I was getting an injection when I woke up from tonkatsu' in my childhood as it is in the space.
Moreover, although it is not very large, various seats are prepared for the purpose of public facilities so that various people can use it comfortably. After seeing the cozy and beautifully decorated library, you can only come out after scanning it slowly.
Perhaps this library, known only as a repository of knowledge, is showing wisdom.
This is the Cheongju Open Library, the destination of fragmented library wisdom.

Open space: No walls, but a lid.
-
Even without the side of the box, you can adjust the height of the ceiling, adjust the size of the box, and create a different sense of space. The uniqueness of this space is to use it according to the desired sense. Unlike the f&b spaces and other commercial spaces on the first floor of the Chungbuk Viewer Media Center, this place is located in the middle of the hallway and it is difficult to make a wall. If it had been made, we would have all had to gather together in frustration. However, the space in the middle is for the whole space in a wise way and reveals its own color.
-
'open space'
-
We call this void space. In reality, there are types of spaces that are accurately referred to, but they also represent open spaces in a wide range. A space like today's space is a little more suitable for the word open than for the word void, but what we want to express in context is a space that can be easily understood.
-
The middle area is occupied by boxes with open sides, and seats are also placed on the outer wall of the box with the corridor. It can be seen that the functions of the basic form have been carefully considered and arranged, from the work of dividing the appreciation inside and outside the box with the wall to the method of extending the center of the space using a circle.
-
An easy way to enter the space is the station, which is a circular square. After placing an order in the square, each explores the boxes to find the desired space. Each box has a slightly different theme, and the height of the ceiling fluctuates. There are 'bright and wide, bright and low, narrow and high, narrow and a little dark, open and cool, open and cozy', which creates various senses of space in the same area.
-
The space gives you complete freedom of what you want to experience except reaching the plaza. There is no special route. Freedom of movement provided by open space. You can easily find the place you want, and the advantage of being indoors is further emphasized. If it was outside, the selection area would have been limited depending on the influence of the weather. At the same time, it is a way to make good use of the high ceiling on the first floor.
-
This space attracts people like that. And it is an anchor facility before going out to find the various stories of the Chungbuk Media Center [Wonder Aria]. It is an open space where you can recover your stamina and go on an adventure.

A painting on the paddy field.
UNIQUE SPACE (U:S, 어스)
'Special', one point on the rice field.
-
It is a space with the slogan of 'unique space'. It is unique from the place where the space is nested. The title is 'Answer'. It is a land for the purpose of growing rice and water parsley by drawing in water all the time. Simply put, you can't create a commercial space. However, it is possible to change the designation of the site if it receives a 'permission for development activities'. In the Seoul area, unless there are special circumstances, it is very difficult to obtain permission, but sometimes in small towns in local areas, permission is granted for the purpose of regional development. Perhaps today's space is one of those places? Think about it.
-
Thanks to this, this space reveals its form alone in the middle of a rice paddy field. It is a very different concept from the space called 'non-space' in Icheon before. The appreciation of the land next to the paddy field and the space in the middle of the paddy field are completely different. Even the author walks in and asks, 'How can there be a cafe like this?' I mean, I was skeptical. Several buildings are facing the road while walking to the paddy field on a road that is quite unsuitable for people to walk. There are a few private houses such as a Korean beef restaurant and Haeundae Milmyeon restaurant, but there are no cafes in sight while passing them. After walking down that short alley and coming out of Nonji, the space reveals itself.
-
There is only one space in the empty field. It is white and has a clear shape. Even from a distance, it is easy to recognize that it is a U-shaped building. It is amazing to see a white box mounted on a wide, yellow land with only the rice stalks left. After arriving at the space and hearing the word “unique,” I came to the conclusion that ‘it is possible’.
-
The closer space gradually reveals its scale. The shape of the parking lot laid out neatly in front of the parking lot and the space with a clean entrance without glass decorations are the same as when viewed from afar, but the closer you get, the fresher the unrivaled grandeur you feel on the flat ground.
-
Enter the space through the courtyard of the courtyard. The outside is the same. White. Clean. The floors are shiny and the walls are white. Since there are no buildings around, light enters the space neatly. As if designing a space and confirming a random scene in 3D, it continuously gives an impression that is far from reality.
-
As it is a newly opened space, the enthusiasm of the staff is full. It was easy to see that the owners wanted to do their best, even with repeated greetings and guidance, and their busy eyes watching them carefully.
-
I was dazzled by the light that came all over me, and I sat in a space with my back against the light. It is good to be in the light, but if you stay in the shadows and avoid the light, you can easily see what people sitting in bright places are doing. There are various types, such as family units, lovers, and friends. Because it has not been known for a while, there are few people, but various types of users are enjoying it without much inconvenience. From its simple form, clear movement, and neat location, this place contains 'unique' that is far from today's spaces with various elements.
-
Since all the finishing materials are materials that cannot handle sound, it is expected that the resonance of the sound will be severe.

The inside of the gift box is crooked
preppy
tree front, gift box
-
'Preppy' is also the etymology of the preppy look. It refers to students or teenagers attending expensive private schools in the eastern United States, and the look they wear is called a 'preppy look'. However, today's space is not a story of space only for such a specific class. As a result of visiting the land of Cheongju for the first time, all the spaces appear in surprise like gifts. Among the gifts, today's space is located on an embarrassing road like a surprise gift, so you can enjoy the fun more from the moment you enter.
-
It is a space placed on a small piece of land attached to the roadside with the back of the mountain, the boundary between the city center and the downtown area. As soon as I arrived, I realized that the space was already being used well enough to be crowded with many people. When I talk about a space called a cafe, I tend to like a space that is well used by all the different classes rather than a specific class, but today's space remains as a beautiful memory.
-
It is shaped like a red box. To be more specific, the shape of the cubic space is accurate, as if it were drawn in perspective from a person's point of view. A slanted wall that appears from the floor as the four corners of the ceiling of the space protrude here and there. It is expected to appreciate the depth of the window created by the different positions of the corners of the floor and the ceiling. A space where two boxes are placed side by side. I imagined that if I saw it in summer, it would look like two gift boxes in front of a tree with a lush mountain behind.
-
The entrance is found by entering the space between the two boxes. 'It's the moment you finally open the gift'.
-
We finally enter that mysterious and warm space, as if it was reddish-red. The space you enter is as warm as the exterior of the space. The warm sunlight coming through the deep windows creates dramatic scenes in the space. People who bring out the sense of volume in depth with the light create a scene of space as if it were a photograph. Thousands of people had already entered the gift box to retrieve it.
-
There are various types of 'mothers with children, those with friends, students with their parents, and couples'. In essence, when these types of users are diverse, both 'geographical conditions' and 'scale conditions' must be satisfied.
-
After all, 'gifts are something everyone loves'.
-
The space was like a gift to me. Neither the slanted walls and the roof of the exterior were decorative. As it is in the shape of the exterior, the space becomes lower as it enters. Each corner has a different height, so the length and depth of the incoming light vary, and the perception of the space continues to change depending on the height of the ceiling. The seats in the low ceiling gave a cozy feeling, and the seats in the high ceiling were filled with rich warmth. There are different types of seats. There are basic table seats, a seat on the wall, a seat under the ceiling, and a hall table in the middle. Although it is not large, the owner of this space knows that 'everyone will like a gift regardless of class', so he provides a variety of seats within the largest possible size. The same goes for other dongs. Although it is slightly smaller, the sense of space is still the same.
-
It was like a gift I met while getting to know the city of Cheongju.

A mushroom village that respects the past
Outro Coffee
Mushroom village tongtongtong
-
A trip to a city that I have never been to is the beginning of excitement. How much 'rest' is there? Only one weekend during the end of the year that has been running non-stop is a very sweet time for me. This is the first city in Cheongju. Not to mention any city, he accepted the city in a state of complete ignorance. After getting off the bus, walking for half a day, looking at the map and looking at the spaces, I think I understand a little bit. This place is a bit similar to Seongbuk in Seoul. A combination of hilly and non-hilly places. And in the middle, historical sites that have been left from the Goryeo Dynasty are mixed little by little. The most similar aspect is that spaces that shine like jewels are sporadically hidden in the city. If we put today's space near Seongbuk, it will probably be similar to the space at the mouth of Bukhansan. It is similar to that in Cheongju city center, you have to drive far away, and when you get off the mountain, the atmosphere of the city changes closer to nature.
-
Today's space is an interesting shape. It has a roof like a mushroom head. However, it is interesting as if you met a wonderful work of art from the first impression, with the rather modern materials and the stylish arrangement of the gray bricks on the body. A shape in which three mushrooms are connected. It is a movement line that goes up one step at a time with a small mushroom in the middle. Entering between the giant mushrooms swaying from side to side, it seems that you have come to the Smurfs Garden. Entering the interior of the space, the mushroom-shaped roof has logic. A neat ceiling that has taken its shape as it is. Rather than asking, 'How did you connect this curved roof?', you are drawn to the unique sense of space you feel right away. As expected from the shape, the ceiling of the space rises and falls as I walk.
-
As soon as you enter the entrance, you will be greeted with a welcome saying, 'Welcome to Outro.' Greetings from the city government following 'Please check your fever, call for relief, or check-in by QR.' I'm used to it now. Been doing this for over a year already. It always feels good to be welcomed at the entrance to the space. Even though I did nothing, I can be purely happy to be treated as if they were waiting for me. There is no one-to-one meeting, and the thought of being welcomed in the city for the first time in living for nearly 30 years fills me with joy. Especially for me, who came to find joy because it was a trip, I have no choice but to be happier.
-
According to greetings and guidance, we solve the space needs and try to order coffee. In Seoul, they usually order an Americano in a hurry because they are busy, but since it is a trip to find leisure, I order brewed coffee (also called hand drip or filter coffee) that comes down slowly.
-
Look around the space. If the big mushroom on the right was a service station when you came in, the big mushroom on the left when you entered seems to be the main space. The panoramic views of the mountains are hung like works of art through the windows, and the chimney rises between the tall and huge domed roofs. As it is a space filled with the scent of burning firewood, hikers who come to the mountain hut can feel the rest.
-
It is a space where you can enjoy relaxation in the mountains, relaxation, and refined comfort with materials that are not familiar to the shape.
-
Moreover, if there is a seat in the pavilion outside and looking at the similar spaces of the past side by side, it is pleasant to imagine the story of mushrooms somehow. I really like this space with a modern sensibility by incorporating the form logic of the existing village as it is. Side by side with you and the roof [the past method of breaking the stone thinly and putting it on the roof] and the asphalt single [material in relatively modern times] and the stucco [plaster, a finishing material that originated in Europe in the past, but modern Using materials developed in the United States, it is often used in modern times] The cuteness of putting the same dough on the roof and revealing when it was built in chronological order is an added bonus. In a way, it's like a family.
-
The sun in the village of Smurfs sets behind the mountains. Just like the year in the Teletubbies Garden that I saw as a child, I change seats only after seeing the scene where I walk in with a smile. The first day of our trip to Cheongju was over.

Soup to start the trip? is it bread?
카페 에클로그
The start of a sweet journey
-
A cafe in Cheongju This is an interesting movement. The visible building has a fairly straightforward shape from the basement to the ground floor, but if you draw the line from the basement to the second floor of the cafe, it goes round and round like a snail's house. Although half of the moving line going up is an outdoor space, it is not a building, but each has a role. The carpentry workshop on the first basement floor is buried in the ground and only the entrance is open. The road going back to the cafe is still empty. If you go up the slope a little, you will find the stairs going down to the woodworking shop and the main door to the cafe. If you go to the cafe at this fork in the road, you will find a large garden. Unlike the first basement floor, it is a place where sunlight hits all over. Because it snowed, the snow is piled up, so it's dazzling as if you were in a salt desert.
-
Open the door to the space and enter. The breads on display are welcomed first. The sweet and fragrant smell of bread fills the space. And according to the shape of the building, the space is stretched out in a straight line. The sky was hung at the end of the straight line. According to the shape of the space on the first floor, the table is a huge hall table. Various types of seats are wrapped around the perimeter while the hall table holds the weight. Please place an order once. On the last day of my trip to Cheongju, I hurriedly packed my things to return to Seoul, so I couldn't eat anything because I ran out of the dormitory. The fragrant smell of bread was enough to stimulate the appetite. It was early in the morning when we arrived, so it looked like the bread had just come out of the oven. Also, the first meal of the trip should be a healthy one. Try a sausage buns, mocha buns and a hot dog. Sweet Pumpkin Latte, a few years ago, there was nothing wrong with drinking coffee in the morning. That's why, without hesitation, I ordered a sweet pumpkin latte that seemed to warm my stomach. The combination of milk and sweet pumpkin is like soup, right? saying,
-
After ordering a drink, go up to the second floor. Because it reminded me of the unique shape of the center of the building as seen from the garden. In the rectangle, only that part is cut out as if someone cut the bread in the middle. This is called [VOID SPACE] and is often used as the opposite of SOLID. This is not an exact name for a space type, but rather we use it to simply describe the nature of space among ourselves. I don't know if there is a definition, but anyway, when expressing an open space, we communicate with each other through these words. So, someday, when our readers become clients, when we meet an architect and talk about a space like this, 'I wish there was a void space, it's a place that is open, refreshing and full of light', to ignite the passion of the architect in charge. enough dialogue
-
An architect's imagination explodes when he meets a client who knows 'void space' rather than 'just build a house'. Moreover, even when it comes to the decision of 'a customer who knows something', I don't know the taste, so I ask about the budget and choose the best design according to it rather than designing from an appropriate line. In general, if you roll in a place called a building plate, you may not be able to easily accept the client's request. Some beautiful people don't know architecture well, so they throw at us the perfect sentence about how they have lived and what kind of life they want to live, but still, I usually meet a lot of clients who only want the value of their property. But we can't just blame the client for this phenomenon. This is because our seniors have not made the plate well, and at the same time, we have not been able to change the afterimage of that era because we have not been able to gather our voices. Moreover, the strange climate of Korean society that considers architects, which has been accumulated for a long time, as a very ugly profession also plays a part, so it is true that we feel a lot of regret whenever we encounter such clients. Anyway, we got to the second floor. It's very complicated to think about while going up, but it's a thought I've had in my head since I ordered the bread.
-
The space on the second floor when we arrived is an open space. The sky is visible through the teeth marks on the hemisphere, and the mountain scenery hangs below it. When I go out to the outdoor garden on the second floor, the atmosphere of the yard overlooking is wonderful. Although the boundary between the mountain and the mountain is clearly set, it is difficult to give up the feeling that even the mountain is part of this space. Unable to overcome the chilly wind, I quickly entered the room and found a nice balcony in front of my eyes. The veranda of the apartment you call is actually a balcony.] The spacious balcony has sun beds and simple seats. It was a cold day, so I didn't think to lie down on the sunbed, but the hanging view was so beautiful that I thought I would come back in the coming spring.
-
Unlike the first floor on the second floor, it has a quiet atmosphere of work.
-
Just as I was standing still in a quiet atmosphere and exclaiming quietly with admiration, a vibrating bell rings. Hunger returns to the sound of the vibrating bell. Grab the bread and latte you received and sit by the sunny window to eat. Looking at the blue sky and the sunny yard, how would it be to have a house like this? The thought does not go away Unlike the bitter feeling, the bread and latte are so delicious that a strange feeling blooms.
-
Despite the small floor area, the space presents quite a variety of types of space. The striking light, mountain scenery, and city view act as factors that further enhance the value of the space. The essence of a bakery cafe is bread and drinks. Its essence is wonderful, so it has no choice but to become a space that many people seek out. The start of today's trip feels good.

에이커
I can't touch it, but I can feel it.
There are many things in 'things that cannot be reached but felt'. For example, 'parental love' is a case in point. Moreover, these are things that usually exist in my daily repetition. When I say this in line with the times, the phrase 'the days when I didn't wear a mask' seems to be an appropriate explanation. Unfortunately, these things are revealed through 'absence'. Ironically, the things that we thought were the most precious do not know how precious they are until they disappear. This is because they are all hidden in the unconscious. It can be expressed as a curtain of 'familiarity' created by the repetition of daily life. That's why I sometimes find precious things through the assumption of 'what if it disappeared?' In my daily life, I find things that are latent in my unconscious and I find myself by writing them down on the other side of my notebook.
There are things like that in space.
Things that are latent in the unconscious in space are really simple. As much as space is interpreted by subjectivity, there is 'memory of space'. Everyone has a 'space with a mood I like' that has been learned for a long time. For example, 'a sofa seat near a window where the sun shines on a sunny afternoon' or 'a bar table by the window where you can hear the sound of rain on a rainy day' will be different for each person. Others go here on a sunny day and there on a cloudy day to find a place they like. However, these are not hidden in the unconscious. Rather, 'a sense of space' is a clear substitution word. If you talk about this with space artists, you may degenerate it into a myth that does not exist like a fantasy animal, but exists only in the minds of members of society. But I would like to challenge that claim. What have we struggled with in the era of Corona?
Meeting people in a virtual world called 'Metaverse', communicating only with a computer or mobile phone keyboard, and experiencing the virtual space on the screen only with your eyes. It's easy to accept because it's just entertainment or something to be enjoyed in the workplace. If you say so, there will be a serious deficiency. It's called telecommuting, but we carry our laptops and go to work in a nicer environment. Isn't this a statement that clearly supports the above assumption? Real life must be real. As such, 'sense of space' is an important element that stimulates basic human desires in the unconscious.
Of course, the sense of space is difficult to describe in words. And you can't even touch it But it does exist.
It can be said that the quality of experience is divided through functional differences between living in a small cell in a prison and living in a beautiful, spacious and high house. However, it is a problem after reflecting the satisfaction that comes from the sense of space that humans feel. In the scene of the two spaces imagined while reading the sentence, we can already say our preference. These are several examples that prove the sense of space.
Therefore, when I see a space like this place where many things have been given up for a 'sense of space', I am anxious to convey this space to many people as soon as possible. Today, the space is a commercial space. 'Large bakery cafes' that are in vogue these days. Rather, it is only large, but as people end up using the same room structure in the same apartment, the richness of the sense of space sinks under the sea. Just because the similar senses of space that can be felt in the seats of a small coffee shop on the street are piled up layer by layer, it does not mean that the cake becomes a moist cake. Despite the fatal flaws that large commercial spaces do not provide in-depth and meticulous service, the reason many people are looking for is the 'sense of space' latent in this subconscious mind.
If you've seen it with your own eyes, you're like, 'What about in reality?' and will find
That experience is an important task that accumulates and builds up my taste. Today's space seems to have worked hard for it. I know that there are several types of spaces of this type nationwide. As a result of my visit, it seems to give the same experience, but it gives a slightly different experience depending on how you move people upstairs and what kind of scene you can show, and the proportion and scale of the space that the shape has. On the outside, this huge space is surrounded by crisp and colorful bricks, but on the inside, the structure of the space without anything boldly worn is revealed. It is impossible to reach the ceiling supported by structures far beyond the size of a human being. but it feels Cool. The space you see is terrifying. The scenery outside the space seen at sunset is also thrilling. There is also fun on each floor given by a different floor plan [PLAN: a drawing showing how to use space and a drawing of a fire escape route.] Also, the experience of connecting floors and floors is fun to enjoy while going upstairs and downstairs.
In the end, it becomes a story that we cannot say that the experiences are the same just because the spatial form is the same. It can be said that each space is different because the sense of space is floating in the unconscious. Therefore, my assertion that 'space is interpreted by subjectivity' is also valid. I introduce space by conveying the 'sense of space' that would be very painful if it was accompanied by an absence like 'parental love', which is still felt unreachable.
This is a place that cannot be reached but can be felt. It is a large bakery and cafe acre in Cheongju.

the end of the trip

“I want to travel again.”
I want to express it as 'sorry'. I like that kind of regret. Because it means that it was a satisfactory trip. The moment you go too far and say “I want to stop coming here!”, the taste of the backcountry disappears. This is because it is no different from the place I used to live or the city I am familiar with. In that context, I wondered where the regret for this space really came from.
We enjoy the space. To be more specific, one enjoys one space on one time axis. Time has nothing to do with us. As the universe promised, it repeats the same schedule every day, and space changes its shape according to the time. After all, in summary, we cannot experience the same space. When we travel, we experience the space of that time that day. And if you go there on another day, it will be a different space. So, even if you go to a city you hear every time, isn't it the reason why there are so many things like 'It tasted like this!' rather than 'Yes, it tastes like this!'? I think it can be because there are more things to see as we get used to it, but I have a different opinion. time is different I believe that everything is different because the weather is different and the sun illuminates space at different angles. So is that so? The end of a travel destination is always a place to watch the sunset over the city. Rather than deciding on anything else, I explore the city with the mindset of 'where I will definitely see the sun'. This space is where I decided to watch the sunset on the last evening in Cheongju. The end of the day trip. Here's what the photographers have to say. Did I say, 'You can't hit it even if you go wrong at sunset'?
It's a different space from the photo, but it's not exactly wrong in the space.
A long time ago, when I was 14 years old and growing up with my dream of architecture, I remember the words of the last piece of the architectural photography exhibition I saw at Baeksco, Busan. It was a photo from the Louvre. The writer wrote that he had to wait a long time to film the scene. And what touched my heart was the sentence 'there is a moment when the building smiles.' The artist waited until the moment the Louvre smiled. I waited days and days for the most beautiful smile. It took me a long time to understand the meaning of the author's words I had seen a long time ago. After that, I thought that the space was always different. So you decide where to enjoy that beautiful moment. I looked for a place overlooking the city to enjoy its most beautiful moments. Although borrowing the words of photographers, it is also true that there is a high probability of seeing a smiling face at sunset.
When you see the most beautiful figure, isn't there a thing called 'remorse'?
People, things, and spaces. So, isn't that why many people try to capture the most beautiful moments? To keep drawing and conserving in my mind. It may be an early love for things that will disappear someday, and perhaps a drawing of regrets to come. This is not bad. I'd say it's the way we love something or someone. Wouldn't the phrase 'if there were a little more' become 'disappointment' and 'longing', like a picture of a friend you visit occasionally?
So, to see the most beautiful aspect of the city, I always go to the city where the sunset has occurred. Seeing the most beautiful moment, he promises the following, saying, 'There must be other places as beautiful as this!'
“I want to travel again.”
