10/10 LOVE this place. This is my favorite location of the beautiful French bakery/cafe Maman. Go here for the pastries and food, they’re equally divine, but this location is special because it shares the space with a Paper Source! Great for your cute stationary needs! It’s an all-in-one fantastic location for seating as well - there’s plenty of it, and the space is airy with plants and an industrial pre-war building feel — very “Tribeca” in ambiance. I can never choose which pastry to go for. But Oprah loves their chocolate chip cookie (see Oprahs picks list), and I can see why. If you’re a brownie head, get their Nutella caramel brownie, you will not be disappointed! Or if like me you can’t pass up a croissant, try their strawberry almond croissant. And stay a while, come for lunch! They have quiche and other healthier options for the midday crowd.

Matchaful is my favorite matcha-centered cafe in NYC. This is a female-owned, “farm-to-whisk,” health-focused business that puts your wellness and quality of product first. This location teters on the border of Tribeca and SoHo as it is right off of Canal St, the northern-most street in the neighborhood. Their space is stunning with plenty of green plants, bamboo benches and strong wifi for working. Truth be told I am not a matcha or a green tea drinker - however! Hōjicha is my green tea of choice, and their iced hōjicha latte was nutty, earthy, and absolutely delicious. Most places I’ve tried just don’t get hōjicha right, so I was mega impressed by their hōjicha latte, and will be coming back time & again for more!! If you’re all about wellness and matcha, this is the place. Read more about them and their mission on their website: bematchaful.com

Cafe Atelier

Cafe Atelier & Darling Moon Flower is women owned & operated, a true local shop complete with all the feminine touches 🌸 Tribeca locals love this cafe and frequent it often. The fresh flowers in the back seating area are stunning to look at and even more tempting to purchase! They have a delicious array of espresso drinks and small bites. Everything about this cafe is cute, even the baristas are friendly and sweet. If you’re in the area as well, you’re probably visiting Bubby’s which is right next door. A visit there however would not be complete without a quick visit to Cafe Atelier! They even teach flower arranging classes and candle-making classes.

Tea-lovers rejoice! This is a fantastic Asian-owned and operated coffee & tea-centric cafe in Tribeca. Phenomenal selection of quality teas from all over China, Japan, and India. I had the Organic Gongmei (white tea with orchid, cedar & brown sugar), which was fragrant and divine. They have their matcha from Japan and make all their pastries in-house. Often I gravitate toward banana bread, and their sesame banana loaf was delicious and something different! Overall I’m impressed with this cafe and their location in the Northern end of Tribeca is great. The couple who own Interlude are so friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to make sure you have an easy experience. They also sell goods from vendors I personally am a fan of - BonBon Swedish candy, Soma chocolatier (of Canada), and many more. 5 stars!!!

Scandinavian (Swedish) Kaffe Landskap has two locations in Tribeca, just along the same street. They’ve been around for a few years now, and consistently deliver to the neighborhood excellent coffee (Swedes love strong quality coffee) and pastries, as well as healthy lunch options. They are inspired by the landscape and lifestyle of fika in a town called Östersund, Sweden, and certainly deliver on their traditional cardamom buns!! Plus, they have cute little sheep 🐑 in every shop, and have a few locations in Denver as well. I frequent this location, Kaffe South, as it’s closer to my apartment.
